Hyrule Warriors producer Yosuke Hayashi has shared details about the Wii U exclusive’s Adventure Mode within this morning’s Nintendo Direct.
This accompanies the core Legend Mode, and tasks players with battling their way through challenges that populate a grid that is inspired in appearance by the overworld map from The Legend of Zelda on NES.
Each grid square represents one stage with its own victory conditions, for instance defeating 300 enemies, with certain new weapons and playable characters only being unlockable by advancing through the mode.
Hyrule Warriors will release exclusively for Wii U across Europe on September 19th, and North America on September 26th.
