Whilst Activision and Infinity Ward have continually denied the existence of a Wii version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the publisher has today backtracked on such a statement during their financial conference call.
No release date was provided, so it is unknown as to whether it will release on the November 8th date set for the other versions, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is confirmed for Wii.
Information aside from that is sparse but if Call of Duty: Black Ops is any indication, Modern Warfare 3 will incorporate one of the Wii’s strongest multiplayer components – first sported by the previous entry in the blockbuster series last year.
