Activision have announced plans to engage with its Call of Duty community within a two-day event to be titled ‘Call of Duty XP 2011,’ due to be held between September 2nd – 3rd in Los Angeles.

You’ll be able to look forward to catching the world premiere of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer and Spec Ops survival co-op mode after which you’ll be able to get hands-on time, the “full feature functionality” of the Call of Duty Elite service, and opt to participate in a $1 million Call of Duty tournament that will be sponsored by Activision and Xbox 360.

Players will also be able to challenge each other in a paintball firefight on a life-sized Call of Duty multiplayer map, as well as attempting to speed run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s “The Pit” for real.

6000 tickets will go on sale from July 19th priced at $150, with 100 per cent of ticket sales going towards the Call of Duty Endowment – a non-profit organisation that was founded by Activision to help place veterans returning home into jobs.
