Activision have today announced that they are to release Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012 later this year, promising one of the most realistic hunts yet, vast environments, an abundance of firearms and gear and the most true to life animals yet.
With the world as their playground, players will explore a vast expanse of mountains and valleys with unprecedented choices in direction never before seen in a Cabela’s hunting game, as you continue to utilise the popular Top Shot Elite peripheral. You’ll have to choose between climbing to get a better angle at the risk of being spotted, or taking low elevation routes with poor visibility but more concealment.
This latest instalment also offers the most realistic animals yet within the series, with the movement of each giving clues as to what the animal will do next. To bag the biggest trophies, players must avoid detection through cunning, skill, and deception, whilst utilising master hunting skills such as advanced stalking techniques.
New multiplayer modes, such as ‘Reflex’ and ‘Target Shooting’, also feature, where up to four players can take turns, work together or challenge each other in different arcade shooting galleries.

Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012 is due to release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii across Europe on September 27th, and will be bundled with the innovative Top Shot Elite hunting peripheral.
