Picogram and Rose City Games have announced that Garden Story is out now on Nintendo Switch, news that was shared in this week’s Indie World showcase.
In this action-adventure game, you play as Concord, the youngest grape in The Grove who has been appointed as its Guardian.
When an insidious Rot threatens your vibrant island, you must set out to inspire your community and rebuild your home. Your fruity friends – Elderberry, Rana and Fuji – are ready to lend a hand, as you work to gather precious materials, repair social ties and structures.
Your restoration efforts will see you earn the trust of the community, as helping others with their problems will see them offer to help you in return.
“Garden Story is inspired by generations of different migrant peoples whose love & courage place me where I am today,” explains Garden Story creator Picogram. “It’s dedicated to them and the wonderful stories they will never have the chance to tell.”
Garden Story is now available as a timed console exclusive on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide priced at £17.99 ($19.99).
