HandyGames is hard at work porting Aces of the Luftwaffe to Nintendo Switch, seeing players soar into the skies in the Battle of Britain.

The news was indirectly shared in a video from YouTuber PietSmiet, who had visited the German developer to learn more about the game creation process.

With waves of Axis planes and panzers preparing to swarm Britain, only a handful of brave pilots are left to destroy them. Leaping into your war plane it’s down to you to eliminate the notorious Aces of the Luftwaffe, never letting go of the trigger until they have all been blown out of the skies.

With upgradeable planes and pilots, you will fly on bombastic missions to take down tough bosses – with mighty power-ups at your disposal.

The game has already seen release on PlayStation 4, Steam and mobile devices, and it will soon unleash bullet hell on Nintendo Switch.
