Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has now sold more than six million copies around the world, news that the publisher has shared as the game marked its sixth anniversary.
“Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is celebrating its sixth anniversary and has sold over six million units worldwide. Our desire to connect with as many people as possible has become a reality!” enthuses the game’s producer Kazutoki Kono. “We would like to thank all the people who bought the game and were involved for their great support.”
The flight shooting game was ported to Nintendo Switch last year, where it promised to take “advantage of the portability of the platform for players to soar in finely rendered cloud-filled skies wherever they are.”
You will have the chance to become an ace pilot, codenamed Trigger, who must engage in spectacular aerial dogfights. After your mission briefing, you will progress through the story by completing different objectives – preparing your aircraft for each mission to select the right model and armaments to help achieve your goal.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Deluxe Edition is now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
