Ask An Enemy Studios has announced that A Duel Hand Disaster: Trackher will see release on Nintendo Switch, in which you control two ships simultaneously.

The split-screen single player twin-stick risk ’em up will see you control the HR-D Assault Vessel on the left-hand side of the screen, and the DF-R Reclaimer on the right.

The immediate goal is to achieve the highest score possible, with the HR-D racking up points as you kill enemies –
retrieving PowerCells to increase the rate of fire and unlock new weapons. But, as you shoot and move, it drains the link between the two vessels.

That means that the DF-R will need to recover materials to maintain the link, but these are also used to multiply your score – meaning that materials should be used wisely.

Parts that are recovered will keep the DF-R’s defences active but also repair the Extraction engine. Once these repairs are finished, you can either choose to end your run with the score that you have secured or push on to rack up even more points.

While the HR-D does not take damage the DF-R does, and, if destroyed, you will be instantly met with the Game Over screen.

A Duel Hand Disaster: Trackher will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
