3goo has confirmed a release date for 4PGP: Four-Player Grand Prix, which is coming to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch next month.
Whether playing solo in Championship, Quick Race and Time Attack modes or competing in local split-screen multiplayer with up to four players, you can hop in a formula car and race on unique tracks from around the world.
The game offers 19 unique vehicles that have been based on real formula cars, 14 circuits from around the world that can also be played in reverse, and four difficulty levels (Rookie, Novice, Veteran and Expert) to challenge your driving skills with.
With support for gyroscopic controls and an Assist Mode for beginners, you can also learn how to approach the game through an “extensive” tutorial mode.
The developer has outlined the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition’s additions, which include:
- Four Ways to Play: In addition to single-player and split-screen multiplayer, play with your friends using GameShare locally or via GameChat!
- 4K Support in TV Mode: Experience the breathtaking speed in 4K resolution with 60FPS.
- Optimised Framerate: Native framerate of 120fps for 1-2 players and 90fps for 3 or more players in Full HD.
4PGP will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch worldwide on 5 February 2026.
