Curve Games and Pixadome have confirmed a release date for their side-scrolling roguelike brawler Chenso Club on Nintendo Switch.
This action-packed arcade-style game can be played solo or in couch co-op with friends, and stars “an all-female cast of cute, colourful and deadly girls-turned-fighters.”
Taking inspiration from The Powerpuff Girls, each of the game’s five playable protagonists has their own distinctive abilities, moves and combos that you can use to punch, jump, slash and smash your way through alien hordes in an effort to save the world.
“Chenso Club is a love letter to the arcade-style side-scrolling brawler. We loved the idea of making a heroine game with anime girls and took inspiration from ’90s cartoons such as The Powerpuff Girls,” explains Pixadome director Conny Nordlund. “I love how violent that show is but it’s still cute and charming at the same time, and this is really the vibe we were going for with Chenso Club. We can’t wait for people to be able to jump in and play it!”
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features as below:

Chenso Club will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 1st September 2022 priced at £11.99 ($14.99).
