Robot Gentleman has announced that 60 Seconds! Souper Scavenger is in development for Nintendo Switch.
In this dark comedy post-apocalyptic endless runner, the McDoodle family have survived the nuclear apocalypse thanks to the safety of their fallout shelter. Their troubles are far from over, though, with supplies running low and their soup all but gone.
Someone has to head out into the hostile wasteland to scavenge, and that person is Mary Jane. Promising “crazy replayability, gorgeous hand-drawn animations, weird environments to perish in, and, of course, plenty of soup,” you will have the chance to experience what scavenging in the atomic wasteland really feels like.
The developer has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Run and jump your way through the procedurally generated wasteland. No one can stop you. But they will try.
- Scavenge soup, supplies, and even grab friends to join your endless run (disclaimer: until you perish).
- Survive the deadly hazards of the wasteland. Raiders, ill-parked bicycles, remains of the collapsed civilization, mutant marathons, and many more.
- Visit all the incredible postapocalyptic, only ever so slightly radioactive locations, and enjoy the sights. And of course, all the soup you can find there!
- Run again and again, because it will take more than one try to stock that fallout shelter of yours.
60 Seconds! Souper Scavenger will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide, with a release date or window unspecified.
