The Pokémon Company has announced that the 2027 Pokémon World Championships will be held in Singapore.
The event will be held from Friday 13 August – Saturday 15 August 2027, with this marking the first time that the competitive event has been held in Singapore and its return to Asia since the 2023 Pokémon World Championships in Japan.
“The 2027 Pokémon World Championships will return to Asia for the first time since 2023, when we had the event in Japan. We look forward to welcoming all of you to the beautiful city of Singapore,” enthused The Pokémon Company CEO and president Tsunekazu Ishihara.
