The Pokémon Company International has confirmed the dates of the 2023 Pokémon World Championships, with the event to be hosted in Japan for the first time ever.
The event will take place at the PACIFICO Yokohama, and is to be held from Friday 11th – Sunday 13th August 2023.
With participants to battle for the title of World Champion across Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE, the company has revealed the special artwork that you can expect to see “thematically included across all touchpoints of the massive competitive event.”
