Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below and Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s End are in development for Nintendo Switch, and will release as a bundled package.

Both action-RPG games have been developed by Omega Force and will land at retailers across Japan when Nintendo Switch launches on Friday 3rd March. The western release date is unclear at this point.

Dragon Quest Heroes II sends players on a grand adventure to restore order to a once peaceful world, and promises to see you charge headlong into thrilling battles of epic proportions. It has notably added multiplayer functionality in comparison to the game’s predecessor, letting players form a party of up to four online to conquer enemy swarms and topple gigantic monsters.

It was also reiterated that Dragon Quest X and Dragon Quest XI are also in development for Nintendo Switch.

Dragon Quest Heroes saw a console exclusive release on PlayStation 4 last year, with Dragon Quest Heroes II set to launch across North America on April 25th and in Europe on April 28th.
