You now have a reason to tune in to watch The Game Awards 2016, with Nintendo of America revealing that viewers will be treated to an exclusive look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

This will be the first time that Link’s adventure has been shown at length since the game’s blowout at E3 2016. We most recently learned that it had been rated by the Australian Classification Board, while rumours are suggesting that it won’t release to coincide with Nintendo Switch’s worldwide launch in March.

Taking place on Thursday 1st December at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, live coverage at The Game Awards 2016 will start at 8.30pm ET (5.30pm PT) which can be viewed on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook Live, and many more ways.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch and Wii U in 2017.
