We may not be learning more about the home gaming system until the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 early next year, but rumours continue to emerge about the Nintendo Switch Console.

Citing a source at Nintendo who’s not afraid to keep quiet, Let’s Play Video Games report that Nintendo Switch will support memory expansion with Micro SDXC cards up to 128 GB in size. This capacity is used with the development kits, which supports running software directly from the Micro SDXC card.

A separate source close to the production of the preview trailer added that the Micro SDXC card slot on the Nintendo Switch Console is located beneath the kickstand, at least on the model used when filming.

SD Card, Micro SD cards and their variants are no stranger to Nintendo, used with Wii U, Wii, New Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo 2DS.

Nintendo Switch will release worldwide in March 2017.
