In Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, we will discover that the Alola region has not yet established a Pokémon League.

Revered in other regions for housing the Elite Four (four Pokémon Trainers with powerful Pokémon partners) and the Champion (who reigned as the region’s top Trainer) who await any challengers, plans are underway in the Alola region to construct one on Mount Lanakila – the highest mountain peak in the region.

After completing the island challenge, you may have chance to take on the Pokémon League to become the strongest Pokémon Trainer.

The Pokémon Company has also revealed the Battle Tree, another place where Trainers who have completed their island challenge can battle one another.

You can partner with opponents that you have been victorious against, fighting alongside them in future battles. And, in a surprise move, this will even include familiar faces such as the Trainers Red and Blue from the Kanto region.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America, Australia and New Zealand on November 18th, and in Europe on November 23rd.
