Pokémon GO Update Version 0.31.0 Now Available On Android

Niantic has pushed live a new software update for Pokémon GO on Android, which brings the augmented reality app to version 0.31.0.

This update introduces significant changes, like the chance for players to re-customise their Trainer avatar, adjusting battle move damage values for specific Pokémon, improved memory issues, removing footprints of nearby Pokémon, and addressing bug fixes that occur in wild Pokémon encounters.

The update notes outline the following improvements that have been made to Pokémon GO:

  • Avatars can now be re-customized from the Trainer profile screen

  • Refined certain Gym animations

    1. Ok..so just removed the pokemon tracking system!?!? So many people are going to uninstall this game now.. Know how far you had to go is what made this game fun.

    2. No tracking system AND halfing the area you spot Pokemons in is a major mistake.
      Quite a gamebreaker actually. People want to chase Pokemons not just aimlessly wander around.

      You very much need to communicate now and in force about how you will improve tracking in the very near future.
