Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment president David Haddad has weighed in on Microsoft’s Project Scorpio and Nintendo NX, saying that deciding whether to support the new hardware “is not a question for us.”

The third-party publisher is buoyant on reaping the opportunities that such consoles will bring, and was notably an early supporter for Wii U. That brought games such as Batman: Arkham City Armoured Edition, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and, more recently, LEGO Dimensions to the console.

“We have great relationships with all the console platforms,” Haddad shared with VentureBeat. “We believe we play a role in each of them.”

He continued, “What I saw with the announcements that were made at the show — I’m fairly bullish about the console cycle, about gamers spending time on them and finding great content, about publishers being able to find returns on increasing investments in that space. We’re constantly deciding how to navigate that, but supporting them is not a question for us.”
