Nintendo of Europe has announced when we can expect Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice to launch in the region.
The Nintendo 3DS exclusive, which is developed by Sanzaru Games, was announced at E3 2015, however suffered a delay when SEGA made the decision “to make sure the game has the time and polish needed.” Their hope is that it “will be a stronger, more enjoyable experience” for it, which also lets it see release in Sonic’s 25th anniversary year.
That will see SEGA of America host a Sonic 25th Anniversary Party in San Diego on Friday 22nd July, which will coincide with San Diego Comic-con. Attendees will see “the exclusive first look at the future of Sonic,” with musical performances by Crush 40 and Hyper Potions.
Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America on September 27th, across Europe on September 30th, and in Australia and New Zealand on October 1st.
