Nintendo of America has announced that Rockefeller Plaza’s Nintendo World store will host the official launch event for Nintendo 3DS exclusive Yo-kai Watch.
It has already proved a cultural phenomenon for LEVEL-5 in Japan, and there is lofty expectation that it will strike the same chord in North America. While the game launches on Friday 6th November, the event will take place a day later on Saturday 7th November between 11am – 2pm.
Attendees can look forward to playing Yo-kai Watch, taking a look at Hasbro’s upcoming toy range, learning the Yo-kai Dance, and having chance to meet the game’s feline star Jibanyan. Activities will let you participate in a scavenger hunt, memory challenges and a massive game of “telephone.”
The first 75 fans in line will also have chance to take photos and get autographs from LEVEL-5 president and Yo-kai Watch creator Akihiro Hino.
Yo-kai Watch launches exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America on November 6th, and launches in Europe in early 2016.
