We appear to be on the verge of something exciting! Nintendo Network Maintenance has been scheduled for next week, which, while never normally suspicious, will see users unable to use their Nintendo Network ID.

That will see the Nintendo eShop, Wii Shop Channel, Nintendo DSi Shop inaccessible late on Monday, with use of your Nintendo Network ID affected throughout such time. It’s likely that Nintendo will use the maintenance window to tinker with the services in preparation to launch Club Nintendo’s replacement loyalty program, which was promised to be unveiled later this year.
