Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate players to be rewarded in Monster Hunter X

We haven’t heard much more about Monster Hunter X, or Monster Hunter Cross, since it was announced at Capcom’s Monster Hunter’s Gathering 2015 event in Japan earlier this year.

However, series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto was recently interviewed by Japan’s Weekly Famitsu and was keen to point out that it wasn’t an “Ultimate” game. That means that you will start the game from scratch, although those that have Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate save data will receiving “something” that will help you when hunting.

Another reward will be provided to those that play Monster Hunter Diary DX, with Tsujimoto sharing that whatever you receive will be “a little better than from 4 Ultimate.”

Capcom see these bonuses as “nice to have,” although won’t suddenly sway the game in your favour.

Monster Hunter X will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on November 28th.
