Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure was announced in this week’s Nintendo Direct Micro, the localised name for Dr. Mario Gyakuten! Tokkouyaku & Saikin Bokumetsu.
No one likes a cold, but you can neutralise them with pill capsules that match their colour in separate Dr. Mario, Virus Buster and Dr. Luigi modes. This time around it is the Miracle Cure item that’s new, a potential game-changer that is awarded when an on-screen gauge is filled. Once in your possession, these have a random power and can eradicate all viruses of a particular colour or wipe out entire rows, columns or in a particular radius.
In multiplayer mode, they can reverse your opponent’s controls, speed up their drop rate or prevent them from rotating capsules. Global online, Download Play and Local Plqy multiplayer are all supported.
Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS through the Nintendo eShop in North America and Europe on June 11th, and in Australia on June 12th.
