Flipnote Studio 3D now available through Club Nintendo

Ending a long spell of doubt, those in North America can now claim Flipnote Studio 3D through Club Nintendo.

Nintendo of America are allowing members to receive a free download code for the three-dimensional animation tool “as a small token of appreciation for your loyalty.” This will require you to log in to the rewards service, where you can follow prompts to apply to receive a code.

The application will allow you to share your creations with others through a local wireless connection, or by saving them to an SD Card to transfer. Those that used Nintendo DSi’s Flipnote Hatena can also log into their old library to download any of their animations to the Flipnote Studio 3D.

New Club Nintendo accounts can be registered until 31st March 2015, with Flipnote Studio 3D codes able to be requested until 30th June 2015 – after which, they must be redeemed by 31st July 2015.
