It has been announced that Pokémon Bank subscribers will shortly be gifted special versions of Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr, the final evolutionary forms of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver’s starter Pokémon.

These can be claimed by those that access their account between 27th February – 30th November 2015, the Johto region Pokémon each being Level 50 and coming with a Hidden Ability that hasn’t previously been accessible through normal gameplay.

Meganium will have Leaf Guard, which protects it from status conditions whenever the sunlight is harsh or extremely harsh, as well as knowing Sunny Day so that it can change the weather to utilise this.

Meanwhile Typhlosion will have Flash Fire, boosting the power of Fire-type moves by 50 percent and preventing it from taking damage from Fire-type moves. It will know Overheat, Flamethrower and Flame Charge, so that you can easily make use of its fiery ferocity.

Whereas Feraligatr will have Sheer Force, eliminating additional affects of moves used by the Pokémon but increases the move’s power by 30 percent. Three moves that it already knows have additional effects, so these can all be strengthened to make a big impact.

Players will be required to use Pokémon Link in Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire after they have accessed their Pokémon Bank using one of the games, with the three Pokémon only able to be received once per Pokémon Bank account.
