Nintendo have announced that Europe won’t have to wait quite as long for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U as expected.

The company have today confirmed that the mascot brawler’s Wii U iteration will release a week earlier than previously scheduled, slamming into retailers on Friday 28th November. You’ll be able to pick up the game and GameCube Controller Adapter standalone on such date, as well as being bundled together – although the Mario amiibo toy bundle will still see release on the original December 5th date.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will launch in North America on November 21st, and across Europe on November 28th.
