With Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker not exploring across Europe until January 2015, Nintendo of America have today confirmed that it will release this year.
There were fears that the intrepid explorer’s solo adventure would be similarly delayed in the US, although such worry has now ended. Players will be able to warily wander through haunted houses and escape smoldering volcanos, with the game being priced slightly lower than normal at $39.99.
Support for select amiibo figures will also come in 2015, with details as to what this will entail to follow at a later date.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will release exclusively for Wii U across the US on December 5th.
