Weekly Famitsu’s four-strong review team have cast their judgement on Bayonetta 2, awarding the Wii U exclusive an overall score of 38.
That saw the Japanese publication dish out two perfect 10’s and two 9’s for PlatinumGames’ latest, although Bayonetta’s return failed to match the critical success of the original which was awarded a perfect 40 out of 40 upon release back in 2009.
Nintendo eShop’s Toki Tori 2+ was also reviewed by the magazine, receiving 8, 8, 7 and 7 to earn an overall score of 30.
Bayonetta 2 will release exclusively on Wii U in Japan on September 20th, and in Europe and North America on October 24th.
