As promised, Eiji Aonuma hosted his own panel at New York Comic Con today, mostly taking the time to discuss The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

Talking through a live gameplay demo, Aonuma then shared the new trailer which you can find below whilst sharing new information about the two worlds, Hyrule and Lorule. We witness new antagonist Yuga transforming what appear to be the seven sages into portraits, which we can presume is how Link somehow inadvertently secures his new wall-shifting ability.

Whilst Princess Zelda presides over Hyrule, as we’ve come to expect, Lorule sees our hero encounter Princess Hilda, who seemingly reveals that Link’s equivalent in their world isn’t the most useful of characters.

“Lorule was just like Hyrule. So very beautiful. So very… promising,” we learn from Zelda’s counterpart. “We have need of a hero – and your Link is superb.”

He is indeed. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will release across Europe and North America on November 22nd.
