Nintendo have confirmed that Europe will see a Wii U price cut, similar to that announced for North America on Wednesday.

This reduction will commence from October 4th and will see retailers cutting a further £30 from the recommended retail price, with specialist GAME already selling The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Premium Pack for £249.99 (€299) whilst the standard Wii U Premium Pack is still listed at £279.99.

Whilst Nintendo Land is no longer being included within the new bundles, consumers can instead pick up the console alongside either The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD or LEGO City Undercover, though Nintendo Land will obviously remain available through the original Premium Pack.

“We’ve reduced the European trade price of the Wii U Premium Pack to retailers from October 4th,. At the same time we’ll be launching the Zelda bundle (32 GB) and the LEGO Premium Pack (32 GB) which will also be available to the retailers at the same lower trade price as the traditional Wii U Premium packs which are currently available in the market place.”
