Nintendo considered sharing the first footage of their next entry in the The Legend of Zelda series on Wii U but decided against it, Game Informer report.
“We’re also working on a new Wii U Zelda game. Work on that is progressing fairly concretely,” Miyamoto explained. “In fact, we were thinking about showing it here at E3 but decided to wait just a little bit longer before sharing it with everyone.”
He further revealed that progress is farther along than perhaps many think, which will be news welcomed by fans.
