Having wrapped up development on Luigi’s Mansion 2, Next Level Games appear to have immediately moved on to their next project.
According to the LinkedIn profile of lead designer Devon Blanchet, the developer began work on “a new top-secret game” back in October 2012 although even the identity of which console it’s destined for remains unknown.
Whilst remaining an independent studio, the company is most recognised for its relationship with Nintendo having worked on Super Mario Strikers, Mario Strikers Charged, and Punch-Out!! over the years.
So, hopefully this project is headed to either Nintendo 3DS or Wii U. We’ll have to wait and see!
