Project X Zone descends upon Europe, North America and Australia

Project X Zone will make its way westward this year, with Namco Bandai confirming that the Nintendo 3DS exclusive will release across Europe, North America and Australia.

The epic crossover title, developed by Monolith Soft and Banpresto, brings iconic characters from across Capcom, Namco Bandai, and SEGA’s most beloved franchises within an explosive strategy role-playing experience.

Players will use a team of two characters, known as a Pair Unit, to explore the world, with over 50 playable characters available within the game. An additional character, called a Solo Unit, may also be combined to assist and augment attacks.

You’ll traverse a world surrounded by a hidden chaos, witnessing a rift in time and space that opens a doorway between various universes. This sees heroes and villains from different worlds to cross paths, with players able to take control of paired heroes including Jin and Xiaoyu (Tekken), Toma and Cyrille (Shining Force EXA), to X and Zero (Mega Man X) in discoverin the cause of the rift.

Project X Zone will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS across Europe, North America and Australia in summer 2013.
