2013 Pokémon World Championships to be streamed live

Pokémon Trainers in all corners of the globe have battled to earn their place within the 2013 Pokémon World Championships, and Nintendo have announced plans to ensure fans can tune in to the event live.

Those unable to attend the event in Vancouver, Canada will be able to watch a livestream, hosted by Twitch, meaning that they can see players across all three age divisions strive to be the very best.

The programming schedule for the weekend is as follows:

August 10th
5:00pm – 7:30pm PT (August 11th, 1am – 3.30am BST): Video Game Top Cut
7:30pm – 12:00am PT (August 11th, 3.30am – 8am BST): Trading Card Game Top Cut

August 11th
9:00am – 12:00pm PT (August 11th, 5pm – 8pm BST): Video Game Finals
12:30pm – 5:00pm PT (August 11th, 8.30pm BST – 1am BST): Trading Card Game Finals
