Tetsuya Nomura has continued to tease his continual ideas for The World Ends With You.
Within an interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu that centred upon Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix, he was probed for information regarding other projects underway at Square Enix.
Whilst mentioning that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is progressing well, and that he’s finished his work on Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, he explained that The World Ends With You remains a personal favourite and that he would like to broaden the cult classic.
We’re hoping such comments point towards a sequel, especially after the recent countdown timer resulted in an iOS remake.
