Konami have announced that the original Metal Gear Solid will be transitioned into a live-action movie.
Such announcement coinciding with the series’ 25th Anniversary, the film’s producers will be Avi Arad and Ari Arad. As the founder of Marvel Studios, their experience encompasses re-envisioning Spider-Man, X-Men and Iron Man in live-action form.
The Metal Gear Solid movie will be developed by Arad Productions, together with Columbia Pictures, and Sony Pictures Entertainment will be responsible for production and distribution.
