150,000 Copies of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D to be shipped for Japanese launch

As a follow up to our earlier story in regards to Japan receiving an initial limited shipment of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Japanese retail blog Sinobi is now reporting that Nintendo are to ship less than 150,000 units for launch.

Further to this, the site states that pre-orders for the hotly anticipated Nintendo 3DS remake have since “exploded” following earlier reports that the inital shipment would be small.

Nintendo will of course continue to increase shipments, as with such a small initial figure the game will undoubtedly see shortages.
