1001 Spikes set for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U

Nicalis have confirmed that they are to bring 1001 Spikes not only to the Nintendo eShop, but also to the Wii U’s digital store.

It’s a remake of 8bits Fanatics’ Aban Hawkins & the 1000 Spikes, which was released through Xbox Live Indie Games last year.

Within this revision, Nicalis will introduce new artwork, visuals, music, audio and a four-player local multiplayer mode.

1001 Spikes is due to release later this year through Nintendo eShop, with the Wii U version following shortly after.
