10-year-old boy selflessly donates Wii to burgled family

Nunchuck

The Olivares family could only afford to buy a single Christmas gift this year, a Nintendo Wii, which the children delightfully played with all day. Yet once they awoke the next morning, it was gone.

A burglar had entered the family’s home in San Antonio during the night through an unlocked window on the second floor, and taken their hard earned console in the process.

Luckily a little Christmas spirit was evidently at hand from 10-year-old Anthony Salinas, who had heard the family’s plight on the news and decided he wanted to help.

“So I asked my mum if I could give my Wii to them because I want them to have a great Christmas gift too, because I got great gifts and I want them to have great gifts” Salinas explained.

His parents aren’t surprised by his generosity, explaining that he has always had a big heart.

[Thanks Kens5, and to AnthonyWatts for the tip]
