Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D sells a million units

Within their quarterly financial results, Nintendo has revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D has become the Nintendo 3DS’ first title to reach a significant milestone.

The remake of the Nintendo 64 classic was able to sell 1.08 million copies since release, which means that a quarter of the 4.32 million Nintendo 3DS install base owns the game.

During the three months prior to June 30th, Mario Kart Wii also achieved sales of 1.22 million units whereas combined sales of Pokémon Black and White managed an impressive 1.36 million.
