2K and Saber Interactive have revealed that WWE 2K Battlegrounds is in development.
Similar to the NBA 2K Playgrounds games, this promises players “a completely new WWE gaming experience” that looks to deliver “arcade-style action and over-the-top Superstar designs, environments and moves.”
With an emphasis on “social pick-up-and-play fun,” there will be more than enough depth for those that want to explore it.
The console platforms that WWE 2K Battlegrounds is destined for have not been confirmed yet but, given the developer’s experience and expertise with the portable home console, it seems more than likely to happen.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds will release digitally in Fall 2020.
