Nintendo has released a minor Wii U system update worldwide, with the console’s firmware now at version 5.5.2.
Once again there are no real surprises to look forward to, with Nintendo sharing that they have made “further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”
However, data miners have uncovered text that reads: “The Miiverse service has ended. Miiverse and any software features that make use of Miiverse are now unavailable.” That could signal that the social network service may soon be shut down on the console.
