Ahead of launch, retailers are stating that the Wii U has already sold out, MCV report.

Games buyers at key retail outlets have confirmed that their stock allocation for launch has been completely sapped by pre-orders, leaving little left to fill store shelves on November 30th.

This has lead to some retailers already taking orders in preparation of future Wii U shipments, as Nintendo prepares to supply demand.

HMV, who will be hosting the console’s official midnight opening, have confirmed that they were able to secure extra stock, reassuring that those queueing outside the store will be able to make their purchase.
