NIS America has announced that Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle will see release on Nintendo Switch.
The bullet-hell battle game weaves a tale around Hakurei Shrine maiden Reimu who learns that a vampire has joined forces with yokai to assault human beings. Concerned, she heads to the Scarlet Devil Mansion to investigate.
Players will take control of one of nine Touhou characters, eliminating their opponent in a 3D square arena by using bullet-hell patterns, melee attacks, or spell cards.
You can take to the sky to perform dashes, double-jumps and mid-air dashes to avoid incoming bullets, with local and online rankings challenging you to become the ultimate Touhou fighter.
Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle will release on Nintendo Switch in North America on September 5th, and in Europe on September 8th.
