Nintendo has revealed the Tetris 99 Big Block downloadable content, a season pass that will introduce three offline modes to the chaotic puzzler.
The CPU Battle mode will pit you against 98 bots, while Marathon challenges you to clear as many lines as possible to achieve your highest score. The third offline mode has not been revealed yet, but it will release this year.
Nintendo adds that as these new modes can be played offline, even those without a Nintendo Switch Online subscription can play Tetris 99 when buying the Big Block downloadable content. However, you will need a subscription to compete in the game’s online mode.
Tetris 99 is now available exclusively on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
