Nintendo has announced that the next software update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will release tomorrow, seeing the mascot brawler on the much-anticipated update version 3.0.0.

This free content update introduces Stage Builder, letting you make your own stages with the chance to freely draw with the touch screen in Handheld mode. There are new elements to choose from, and you can use front and back layers to add decorative elements to your creations. And then, you can use the Custom tab on the Stage Select screen to battle on them.

There’s also a new Video Editor that lets you import videos saved to your Nintendo Switch to a timeline, from which you can then edit them – add background music, subtitles, and transitions – to then export them. These can then be posted in Shared Content which requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, a place where you can upload and download Mii Fighters and Stages that you have created. These are rated with a “Yeah!” which will help to push the best creations to the top.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
