Players have continued to dash, leap and vault their way through the Mushroom Kingdom in Super Mario Run on iOS devices, and, at long last, Nintendo has announced when the energetic auto-runner will release on Android.
That will see the game become available on Google Play next week, on Thursday 23rd March to be precise. It arrives some three months after the moustachioed plumber leapt onto Apple devices. Those that are interested can still pre-register on Google Play.
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé had once said that Super Mario Run would release on Android “as quickly as possible,” dismissing concerns surrounding the game’s earlier arrival on iOS.
