Image & Form has teamed up with Ultime Decathlon for the first ever SteamWorld Dig 2 Speedrun Contest, that is running from now up until December.
This contest is free to enter and open to anyone who wants to take on the challenge, tasking players with beating the game as fast as they possibly can.
The four fastest players to beat SteamWorld Dig 2 in the qualifiers will move to the tournament final that will take place at a cinema in France.
The qualifiers will be broadcast in French and English on Sunday 8th October, Sunday 22nd October, and Sunday 5th November, with the tournament final to take place on Sunday 3rd December.
After the nail-biting final, the winners will receive SteamWorld merchandise and a chance to meet the game’s developers, with more details on the event’s official website. Good luck!
