SEGA closed their Gotta Go Fast: The Official Sonic the Hedgehog Panel at SXSW with a tease, a logo appearing from the darkness as a car’s engine was ignited and revved in the background.
There’s not really much to go on aside from the fact that the “R” in the last word of the logo was lit up, which shares the same typography style as Sonic R on SEGA Saturn. Other than that, we can tell that the last word is Racing.
The only other information we got was from Sonic the Hedgehog social media and PR manager Aaron Webber, who added: “It’s not a sequel to any previous game we’ve released.” Which kills any hope that it is a sequel to Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed, then.
